NoScroll — Privacy Policy

Last updated: 10 June 2026

NoScroll is an app that helps you stop doomscrolling. This policy explains what data the app handles. The short version: everything stays on your device; we collect nothing.

Data we collect

None. NoScroll has no servers, no analytics, no advertising SDKs, and no accounts. The app does not even request the INTERNET permission, so it is technically unable to transmit data off your device.

What the app processes locally

None of this leaves your phone. Uninstalling the app deletes all of it.

Accessibility API disclosure

NoScroll uses the AccessibilityService API for its core functionality: detecting which of your selected apps is in the foreground and whether you are actively scrolling, so it can warn you and pause the app. It is restricted at the operating-system level to the apps you select, declares no ability to read window content or perform gestures, and uses the data for no other purpose.

Purchases

The optional "NoScroll Pro" upgrade is processed entirely by Google Play Billing. NoScroll never sees your payment details. Refer to Google's Privacy Policy for how Google processes purchase data.

Children

NoScroll does not collect data from anyone, including children.

Changes & contact

If this policy changes, the updated version will be published at this address. Questions: contact the developer via the Play Store listing's contact email.
